Meet & Greet

Meet & Greets provide our guests with the opportunity to socialize and converse with admirable role models of all ages and from all walks of life and life experiences.

Among these admirable role models are:

  • Young adults making positive life choices and setting positive examples for future generations;

  • Individuals from programs and agencies that work on a daily basis to assist women, children and families prevent and deal with the aftermath of adversity, abuse or injustice;

  • Individuals who have the integrity, courage and perseverance to live life from a positive perspective in spite of the adversity, abuse and injustice  they have encountered.

A Special Message...

Connecting the Dots would like to extend a sincere and heartfelt thank you to our 2018 Honorees and Special Guest for attending our annual Meet and Greet.  It was an honor and a privilege to acknowledge all of you as admirable role models:  Shelley Cardoos, Director of Programming at EforAll:  Entrepreneurship for All; Ryan Caton, William Gilmour and Justin Baher, Founders of GotChew, a food delivery service in the Greater New Bedford area; and Special Guest Donna Palomba, Founder/President of Jane Doe No More.

Connecting the Dots has been sharing information in the community and drawing attention to the admirable vision and accomplishments of our Honorees for the past 8 years.  We are committed to continue to encourage and inspire young adults and our community to join us as we show our appreciation for the personal and financial investments being made by our Honorees and Special Guest.

We would also like to extend our sincere and heartfelt gratitude to Barbara Lipsett and her GNBVT students for attending our Meet and Greet every year since 2010.  We deeply appreciate your continued support and the hours of work that you contribute to making this community collaborative a success.

Thank you to all who attended the Meet and Greet who work on a daily basis in programs and agencies to assist women, children and families prevent or deal with the aftermath of adversity, abuse and injustice.

Our special thanks are extended to the numerous individuals from many other facets of Connecting the Dots who worked endless hours making this community collaborative with over 170 guest attendees this year possible.

Fianlly, thank you to all who donated items and gift certificates to our International Dine-Out Gift Baskets, Chinese Auction, Chocolate versus Non-Chocolate Dessert Challenge, modeled or photographed the event.  All of you made this successful evening a fun, relaxing community collaborative.
